Skills-Doc is published and technically operated by SCRINIA. When you use the platform on behalf of your organisation (clinical research institution, CRO, hospital...), that organisation decides the purposes of your data and is the data controller under the GDPR. SCRINIA then acts as a processor: we host and technically run the platform, without deciding ourselves how your data is used. A data processing agreement governs this relationship between SCRINIA and each client organisation. For data you send us directly outside the platform (for example a request sent to contact@skills-doc.com), SCRINIA is the data controller. For any question, you can contact us at contact@skills-doc.com.
As part of your use of Skills-Doc, we collect: your identity (last name, first name, email, role), the content of the CV and trainings you choose to enter, and technical data related to your use of the service (login dates, history of actions performed).
This data is used to let you use the platform (create your account, enter and share your documents) and to ensure the traceability required by the regulations applicable to clinical research. The precise purposes of processing your data are determined by the organisation you depend on within the platform, which is responsible for it.
The processing of your data is based on your organisation’s legitimate interest in managing the professional qualifications of its teams (CVs, trainings), as well as, where applicable, compliance with the regulatory obligations applicable to clinical research. For data you send us directly outside the platform (for example a request for information or a subscription enquiry), the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request, or our legitimate interest in responding to your request.
Your data is accessible to the people and organisations you choose to share it with on the platform, to your organisation’s administrators, and to SCRINIA as the platform’s technical processor. It is never sold or used for advertising purposes.
We use service providers for the operation of the service: OVH (hosting, France) for data hosting, and Brevo for the platform’s automated emails.
Your data is kept for as long as your account is in use, extended where applicable by the period necessary to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. A precise data purging policy after a period of inactivity is being defined.
Skills-Doc implements appropriate security measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords never stored in plain text, two-factor authentication, regular backups, and hosting of your data in France.
In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability regarding your data. For data managed within your organisation, we recommend contacting your organisation’s administrator first, as the data controller. You can also write to us at contact@skills-doc.com: we will forward your request to the relevant organisation if needed.
Skills-Doc only uses a technical cookie, strictly necessary for your login to work. No advertising or tracking cookie is used.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
This privacy policy may be updated. The last update date is shown at the top of this page.
